Find the best Grand Canyon Hotels
Going to see the Grand Canyon is an experience of a lifetime. It requires lots of careful planning, packing, and traveling. For people who are not planning on camping out, they will want to stay in a nearby hotel. The Grand Canyon is such a popular tourist destination; there are many Grand Canyon hotels around the area.
The Best Western Grand Canyon Squire Inn is situated on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon itself, which makes it perfect for people who are exhausted after a long day of sightseeing, or trekking through the Canyon. For a top tourist destination, the prices are surprisingly competitive, starting at around $149 a night. Not too far away from there is the Grand Hotel, also on the South Rim. This hotel is actually fairly new and has the same going rate of the more established Best Western, starting at $149 per night.
There are also Grand Canyon hotels situated a little further outside the Grand Canyon. These are ideal for people who want to stop outside or leave the Grand Canyon once it gets dark. The Canyon Plaza Quality Inn is only five minutes from the entrance and the Grand Canyon Airport. The going rate for this hotel is about a few dollars cheaper than the hotels inside the Grand Canyon, starting at around $145 per night.
There is a very accommodating Holiday Inn Express only five minutes from the entrance. This particular hotel is perfect for people who still need to be connected to the business world while they’re on a vacation. It offers various business services: free high-speed Internet access, and even free buffet-style breakfasts. The starting rates are $146 per night, comparative to the other hotels around the area.
For people who are not interested in staying at one of the Grand Canyon hotels, there are hotels in nearby cities to stay in as well. This is a great plan for those who plan on seeing the rest of Arizona as well as the Grand Canyon. You can find hotels in the nearby cities of Flagstaff, Williams, and Page. If you’re willing to drive a bit out of the way, you can probably find some really great deals! For instance, there’s the Williams Grand Canyon Travelodge, which is very near the Canyon in Flagstaff/Williams. The starting rate there is only $70 per night!
